How to Use the
Dock
1. Aach the mounng system to the vehicle. Plug the 12 V charging
cable into the vehicle power port, and then into the dock.
2. If a hand strap is covering the pin contacts on the RT4, unhook one
end or remove it.
3. Hold the RT4 horizontally with the docking pin contacts facing down.
Place it over the dock alignment pins and press down unl you feel
and hear the lock engage.
4. Press the lock bar down unl it engages the RT4.
5. Push the lock buon in. The RT4 is now locked in the dock and cannot
be accidentally removed.
6. To remove the RT4, turn the key unl the lock buon pops out. Li
the lock bar, and remove the RT4.
Baery Charger
The Baery Charger is an oponal accessory, allowing you to charge spare
baery packs for the RT4.
How to Use the Baery Charger
Baeries charge best at room temperature (about 68°F or 20°C). Baeries
will not charge (or might charge slowly) at temperatures below 32°F (0°C)
or above 122°F (50°C).
Power the Baery Charger by using the AC wall charger provided with your
RT4. Slide the baery pack into the baery charger, orienng it so that the
baery contacts meet the charging contacts in the baery charger. The red
LED ashes slowly, indicang that the baery pack is charging.
LED Indicator
The LED indicates the charging status:
• Solid, on: The baery pack is fully charged.
• Blinking (slow): The baery pack is charging.
• O: There is no power. The baery is not charging.
