PN 8663 Foot Switch Assembly
The Model 860 may be operated manually with the optional PN 8663 foot switch assembly.
This foot switch assembly connects directly to the Model 860 and is primarily for use when
coiling material with competitive material processing equipment, but can be used with the Model
860 if the Carpenter material processing machine is not electronically interfaced with the Model
860.
For directions on operating the Model 860 with the optional PN 8663 foot switch assembly, refer
to the Normal Operation Mode, External/Manual Control Mode and Normal Operation Mode,
External/Semi-Auto Control Mode subsections of the operator’s manual.

The interface between the Model 36A/36B, Model 93, or Model 97A and the Model 860 may be
controlled by a PN 9585 foot switch assembly. This foot switch assembly connects to the
material processing machine, not directly to the Model 860.
For directions on operating the interface between the Model 36A/36B, Model 93, or Model 97A
and the Model 860 with the optional PN 9585 foot switch assembly, refer to the PN 9585 Foot
Switch Assembly (Model 36A/36B, Model 93, or Model 97A) subsection of the operator’s
