2.6 Calibration Setting Menu
2.6.1 Selecting the Standard Calibration Type ( )

2.6.2 PCAL - Calibration of the Built-in Weight -
PCAL is used to calibrate the built-in weight to a standard calibration weight that is
correctly adjusted, traceable and/or certified.
Use a correctly controlled, precise calibration mass for this procedure. If it is
performed without a correct calibration mass, span calibration and calibration
checks using the built-in mass may not be correct in subsequent operations.
1) Unload the sample from the pan and verify a zero mass display.
2) Select the Menu Map item [10].

3) Enter the PCAL password using the
and keys, then press
the
key.
The default password is 9999, set at shipment or upon menu reset.
4) After is displayed, the value of the standard weight to be
loaded blinks.
Load the standard mass displayed and press the key.
5) Shortly, zero is displayed and blinks. Unload the weight and press the
key.
6) From this point the display will proceed automatically. When
is displayed,
operate the levers on both sides of the pan to put on the built-in calibration weight.
