Changing the Sound During a Performance
EN-67
Each of the two EX buttons can be assigned a function of your choice. This allows you to perform the
action at any time during a performance.
Each press of the EX1 button toggles the arpeggiator (page EN-77) on and off.
Press the EX2 button to call up the functions of the “CASIO MUSIC SPACE” (page EN-149)
application for smart devices.
The above functions are the initial default settings for the EX1 and EX2 buttons. Various other
functions (such as switching Layer and Split on and off, recalling registrations, etc.) can be assigned to
either button.
• Instead of steps 1 and 2 below, the “EX” screen can also be displayed by pressing the EX1 or EX2
button while touching the FUNCTION button. (If the EX1 button is pressed, “EX1 Assign” is
selected; if the EX2 button is pressed, “EX2 Assign” is selected.)
1.
Select the “12 Control” of the F button set. See “To change the F Button Set”
(page EN-32).
2.
Touch the F3 button (EX).
The “EX” screen appears.
3.
Touch the top or bottom of the touch ring to select the item whose settings you
want to change.
• Select “EX1 Assign” to change the function of the EX1 button or “EX2 Assign” to change the
