What to do if my Chamberlain Gate Opener will not respond to a remote control?

  If your Chamberlain Gate Opener isn't responding to the remote control, first, check the remote control battery. If the battery is good, the YELLOW LED on the control board will blink rapidly when the remote control button is pressed. If it doesn't blink, replace the battery. If the LED blinks rapidly but the operator still doesn't respond, try reprogramming the remote control, as the remote control provided with operator is programmed from the factory.

  If your gate operator isn't running or responding, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the power supply is properly plugged into a working outlet and check the circuit breaker. Also, examine the wiring from the power supply to the gate controller, checking connections at the power supply terminals and the control board. Use a voltmeter to check for 24Vac at the terminals on the power supply marked COM and 24Vac. Finally, check for 24Vac at the end of the two wires leading from the transformer to the control board to verify the wires are in good condition.
