6.5 DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY SPONGE FILTER

1. Unscrew the filter band (fig.23)
2. Remove the airbox from the motor
3. Remove 4 screw (Fig.24)
4. Remove the sponge filter (Fig.25)
5. Cleaning with biodegradable detergents (don’t
use gasoline)and dry the sponge filter.
6. Lubricate the sponge filter.(Fig.25)
7. Assembly all of the airbox

* Foam filter , help combat the ingress of sand and dust repels water without affecting engine
breating. Only apply to clean, dry filter. Ensure complete penetration and coverage. Allow to dry
before refitting. (Fig.25)
