Factor for correction temperature of drying
Absorbing heat happens for dark colour materials. Sample can be
overheated. For 120
o
C temperature sample absorbs heat and gets
temperature about 135
o
C. Factor for correction temperature of drying
should be defined. To define this factor control termometer with sonde is
neccesary (additional equipment of moisture balance).
Way of defining factor:
1. program all parameters of drying
2. put sample steady on scale and start drying
3. After finish drying notice time of measurement
4. take next sample and put it on scale with a bigger layout
5. insert sonde of termometer through cover of moisture balance
and dip it in sample, press key ON/OFF on control termometer
6. start procedure of drying
7. check value of temperatures on keyboard and control
termometer
8. read both values after time for first sample
9. count value of factor according to format
