Adjustment of a suspension arm
ESSENTIAL :
The clearance «J1» should be equal to or
less than 0.5 mm.
It must be obtained using a single shim (8).
Thickness of available shims :
0.5 - 1 - 1.5 mm.
Selecting the shim thickness (8)
- J1 less than or equal to 0.5 mm
( No shim (8) required).
- J1> 0.5 mm ; less than or equal to 1 mm :
( Fit a 0.5 mm shim).
- J1> 1 mm less than or equal to 1.5 mm
( Fit a 1 mm shim).
- J1> 1.5 mm, fit a 1.5 mm shim.
Tightening torques (m.daN)
9 - Front runner mountings oriented at 18°
(marking: notch at ‘‘a’’).
