Terms and conditions "+3 Years Free Map Updates"
Congratulations on purchasing your new NX501A. As a part of Clarion's continued commitment
to you our customer, an additional 3 years of map updates are included with your product at no
additional charge. The term "+3 Years Free Map Updates" equates to 1 free scheduled map
update per year in addition to the factory installed map software. The scheduling of the free map
updates including starting date is to be determined by Clarion Australia in which the time between
scheduled map updates may be less than or greater than 12 months.
You are strongly suggested to register your purchase via the Clarion free 3 Year Extended
warranty program. Please visit http://www.clarion.com.au and click on the "Warranty Registration"
tab. Not only will this extend your parts and labour warranty, it will enable Clarion to
notifiy you
directly for upcoming map updates, map update scheduling and firmware updates (if applicable).
If you do not register via the extended warranty program, it is up to you to contact Clarion or your
local Clarion reseller about update scheduling. If you fail to update your product for any of the
3 map update cycles, no refunds, compensation or additional updates will be offered, as your are
instructed to register your product to receive update scheduling information. Clarion takes no
responsibility if your map data becomes corrupted during the map update process. You are
instructed to follow instructions given by Naviextras at all times during the process of updating
your map software. If your MicroSD card is lost or damaged, a replacement will be made available
to you however this will be a chargable item as a new map licence will have to be issued.
This document is the detailed description of the navigation software. You can easily discover
Clarion Mobile Map while you are using it; however, we still recommend that you read this manual
to fully understand the screens and make the most out your device and it's features.
