DUST FILTER CLEANING AND INTEGRITY CHECK,
HOPPER GASKET CHECK
1. Drive the machine on a level ground.
2. Turn the main switch (A, Fig. 16) to “0”.
3. Remove the hopper (B, Fig. 16).
4. Loosen the knobs (A, Fig. 17).
5. Grasp the dust filter (B, Fig. 17) as shown in the figure.
6. Remove the dust filter by turning it in the direction shown
by the arrow (A, Fig. 18) to disengage it from the pins (B),
then lower the filter to disengage it from the filter shaker
combs (C).
7. Remove the filter (A, Fig. 19) from the frame (B) by
disengaging the rubber bands (C).
8. In an appropriate outdoor area, clean the filter by shaking
it on a level and clean surface, tapping the side (D, Fig.
19) opposite to the gasket (E).
Complete the cleaning procedure by using compressed
air (F) at maximum 90 PSI (6 Bars), blowing only from the
side of the gasket (E), at a minimum distance of 12 in (30
cm).
Filters can also be washed with water and a mild
detergent.
Check the filter body for tears. If necessary, replace it.
9. Clean the bearing surface of the filter rubber gasket (E,
Fig. 19) and check it for integrity and sealing capabilities.
If necessary, replace the filter.
10. Clean the bearing surface of the hopper gasket (D, Fig.
18) and check it for integrity and sealing capabilities. If
necessary, replace it.
11. Assemble the components in the reverse order of
disassembly.

Assemble the filter with the gasket (E, Fig. 19)
positioned as shown in the figure.
