Shoulder Harness Adjustment
SHOULDER HARNESS SLOT SELECTION
NOTE: This car seat has six (6) harness
height positions.
Place child in seat and select the appropriate
set of Shoulder Harness Slots for the direction
child is facing.
WARNING — DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY can occur
• To prevent loose Harness and risk of ejection in a crash:
– Loops at the end of the Shoulder Harness Straps must be properly
attached to the Metal Harness Plate.
• Shoulder Harness Straps must be properly routed under bottom of seat
back cover.
• Shoulder Harness Straps must be routed through Shoulder Harness Slots
at the same height on each side and in the pad and seat back.
• If installing Forward-Facing without a Top Tether, and with children under
40 lbs (18.1 kg), ALWAYS use shorter Shoulder Harness Strap length.
