Removing Rear-Facing
Car Seat Installed With LATCH
Step 1
Loosen Rear-Facing LATCH Belt by pressing
the adjuster button on each Rear-Facing
LATCH Belt adjuster and pulling out on Rear-
Facing LATCH Belt as shown in Figure 55.
• Pressing down in center of car seat to
reduce tension on Rear-Facing LATCH
Belt will make it easier to loosen Rear-
Facing LATCH Belt.
Step 2
Remove Seat Cushion, see “Removing/
Installing Seat Cushion” on page 83.
Step 3
Open both Rear-Facing Belt Lock-offs as
shown in Figure 56.
