Step1
Loosen Harness:
While lifting up on Harness Adjuster
Tab, pull out on Shoulder Harness Straps
as shown in Figure 113.
Step 2
Place child in car seat with their back
flat against the Seat Back as shown in
Figure 114.
Step 3
Place child’s arms through Shoulder Harness
Straps and position the Straps over child’s
shoulders and thighs.
Step 4 (for Rear-Facing use only)
Recheck that the Rear-Facing Level
Reference Line appropriate for the child’s
weight is parallel to the ground, as shown
in Figure 115, and adjust if necessary. See
“Installing/Removing Rear-Facing Car Seat
on page 35 if adjustment is required.

Child seat is properly reclined in Rear-Facing mode when the line
appropriate for the child’s weight is parallel to the ground
USE THIS LINE FOR INFANTS UNDER 22 lbs (10 kg)

• To Release Rigid LATCH Connectors: Fully extend Connectors, then pull Red Rigid LATCH Release Handles.
