If an intervention that is different from the
following ones is necessary, ask the Tech-
nical Assistance Service for authorization
and instructions.
8.1 Daily maintenance 
Every day, before starting the MEWP, perform the
following operations:
All the following checks are to be per-
formed operating the MEWP from the
emergency control station and without an-
yone inside the basket.
Operations
If negative
result:

Check the level of the
hydraulic oil in the tank.
Top up

Check the level of the
fuel in the tank.
Top up

Check the level of the
coolant liquid.
Top up

Check the batteries*
charge.
Charge or
replace

Check the cleanliness of
the floor: oily or greasy
residues could cause slip-
ping.
Clean

Check the wholeness of
the instruction and warn-
ing decals.
Replace
and/or inte-
grate

Operations
If negative
result:

Perform the following
testing operations by us-
ing the (emergency) con-
trols placed on the turret
when no one is aboard:
o stabilize the MEWP;
o lift and lower the tele-
scopic boom;
o lift and lower the jib;
o clockwise and coun-
terclockwise rotate the
turret;
o extend and withdraw
the telescopic boom.
It is
strictly forbid-
den to use
the MEWP.
