Mast length 60 cm
Mast without braces
The following figure shows the maximum mast length over the outer mast diameter.
Example: The mast outer diameter is 150 mm. Then the mast length must be shorter
than 82 cm.
Mast with three braces
For a mast with three braces consider the following dimensions when you design the mast
and braces:
• Mast length
• Mast outer diameter
• Connection point where the brace join the mast.
• Brace outer diameter
The shorter the braces become the more support they add to the mast. The 30 - 40 degrees
between the braces and the mast should be respected.
