How to fix a Colortrac Scanner when the document does not feed correctly?

  If the document is not feeding correctly into your Colortrac Scanner, ensure it is fed straight, holding it with both hands until you feel equal resistance from the feed rollers. If misaligned, remove the document, close the scanner, and try again, loading the document into the center. Also, use the Paper Edge Guides to align the document. Check that the scanner is properly closed and latched. Finally, ensure the document size is within the scanner's specifications.

  If your Colortrac Scanner shows a truncated scan image when scanning to PC, the network or PC might be too slow to keep up with the data transfer rate in Plus Network Mode. Switch to Standard Network Mode to allow the scanner to buffer the scan data before sending it across the network at a rate your network can handle. Alternatively, if you need Plus Network Mode, check your network and PC for issues, or select a lower scan quality.

  If you're not getting any Scan to PC output from your Colortrac Scanner, make sure the ScanApp Le is running on the selected PC. Try searching for available PCs using ScanApp Le. Also, verify that the IP address displayed in ScanApp Le is in the same subnet as the scanner (check the Scanner Info page).

  If you notice possible image errors with your Colortrac Scanner, try cleaning the scanner. If the problem continues, calibrate the scanner. Calibrating can remove streaking and clean up the white background. You can also auto-stitch the scanner to align broken lines or use the Scan Length Adjustment process to correct the errors.
