If the ST650EX / ST650-CO

/ ST350EX is used in a hazardous environment, the relevant
regulations for explosion hazardous equipment must be observed at all times.
Ensure at all times that the lid is properly closed to comply with all regulations for explosion
hazardous environments. Secure the lid, after hand tightening, with the lock nut located on the
outside.
The ST650EX / ST650-CO
2
/ ST350EX is in a great extent immune to electromagnetic interference.
The ST650EX / ST650-CO
2
/ ST350EX should nevertheless be installed with a certain amount of
distance from radio transmission equipment or similar devices.
During installation the ST650EX / ST650-CO
2
/ ST350EX should be isolated from local ground.
The unit should only be connected to ground through the screening of the connection cable (see
chapter 2.2 - Cable requirements and Cable installation).
