Currently, most of the outdoor bridge products are developed based on 802.11 protocols,
ho we ve r, it has th e lim itatio ns o f sho rt-distance, hidden node problems, and poor point-to-
multi-po int p erfo rmanc e.

having the advantage of long transmission range, high date rate and robust transmission.
VTrans technology solves the problems of hidden-node problem in the 802.11 network
infra-structure. Intelligent rate control algo rithm c an b e ad ap te d to q uic k c hann e l q uality
variatio ns , while s tab ilize the wire les s th ro u g hp ut, th us s uitab le fo r lo ng -d is tanc e
transmis s io n. A C K Tim e-out Auto Adjust c an automatically detect the distances of the
devices, and adjust the wireless param e te rs to ac hie ve the b e s t lin k q uality.
To use the TDMA, the user needs to enable TDMA mode in the AP device, and set a
priority level in the station device. When several stations are connected to one AP, different
clients demand different throughput. If the client demands higher throughput, its priority
level can be set to High, otherwise set to Low. When the client demands the same
throughput, their priority level can be set to the same level.
N ote: W hen using TDMA mode, the TDMA button need to be enabled at AP devices in
the web-based configuration menu. The devices from other vendors cannot be connected
to TB2I in the TDMA mode. When TDMA is enabled, your phone or laptop cannot be able
to connect to the device.
Auto ACK-Timeout Adjust：It is suggested to enable this function, so that the distance
between 2 devices can be detected and all the related parameters can be optimized to
ac h ie ve th e b e s t link q uality.
