Use your phone as a Mobile hotspot
1. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings .
2. Tap Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > Wi-Fi Hotspot.
3. Slide the Wi-Fi Hotspot switch to the On position to activate the mobile
hotspot.
• Hotspot name: Set the hotspot name.
• Security: Turn hotspot security on or off.
• Hotspot password: Tap to set a hotspot password.
• Manage devices: Tap to manage the devices connected to the hotspot.
• Turn off hotspot automatically: Slide the switch to the On position to
turn off the hotspot automatically if no devices are connected.
• Extended compatibility: Slide the switch to the On position to help
other devices locate this hotspot.
USB tethering
Share your phone’s internet connection via USB.
1. Connect your phone to the device that you want to share your internet with
using a USB Type-C cable before continuing to the next step.
2. From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps and tap Settings .
3. Tap Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering > USB tethering.
4. Slide the USB tethering switch to the On position to enable USB tethering.
