turn Emergency Location Services (ELS) on. When you call or text an
emergency number, your device will use ELS to automatically send your
location to emergency responders.
• Google Location Accuracy: Slide the Google Location Accuracy switch to
the On position to use GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile networks, and
sensors to determine your location.
• Google Location History: Slide the switch to the On position to turn
Google Location History on. Tap to view your location history.
• Google Location Sharing: Slide the switch to the On position to turn
Google Location Sharing on. Tap to share your location.
• Wi-Fi scanning: Slide the switch to the On position to turn Wi-Fi
scanning on. Wi-Fi scanning improve location accuracy by allowing
system apps and services to detect Wi-Fi networks at any time.
• Bluetooth scanning: Slide the switch to the On position to turn
Bluetooth scanning on. Bluetooth scanning improve location accuracy
by allowing system apps and services to detect Bluetooth devices at any
time.
