Text and MMS options
1. From the Home screen, tap Messaging .
2. Tap Menu > Settings. You can set the following:
• Default SMS app: View your default messanger.
• Notifications: Enable or disable notification icons when messages are
received. Under the Notifications category you can set the following:
• All Messaging notifications: View your messaging notifications setting.
• Incoming messages: Enable or disable sound or vibration alerts on
your device by toggling between Default or Silent.
• Default: May ring or vibrate based on phone settings.
• Pop on screen: Enable or disable notification banner across the top
of the screen when the device is unlocked.
• Sound: Choose your messaging Audio alert. This can only be
accessed when Notifications are enabled.
• Vibration: Enable or disable vibration when receiving messages.
This can only be accessed when Notifications are enabled.
• Show notification dot: Enable or disable the notification dot that
appears over the Messaging app when a new message is received.
• Override Do Not Disturb: Enable or disable the ability of notifications
to inturrupt when Do Not Disturb is on.
• Silent: No sound or Vabration.
• Minimize: Enable or disable, in the pull-down shade, collapse
notificaitons to one line.
• Advanced:
• MSM:
• Group messaging: Choose to send a single message to all
