7. With the engine still running, locate the socket head
cap screw in the slot of the transmission control arm
on the transmission that needs to be adjusted.
8. Loosen the socket head cap screw using a 1/4” hex
key. See Figure 4.36.
9. Adjust the transmission control arm(s) until the
wheel(s) stops moving.
10. Tighten the socket head cap screw using a 1/4” hex
key.
11. Turn the engine off.
12. Adjust the drive control rods so that the hole(s) in
the ball joint(s) aligns with the hole(s) in the trans-
mission control arm(s).
13. Remove the spring clamp from the seat switch.
14. Install the seat switch.
15. Lower the mower to the ground.
16. Test the drive system and all safety features before returning the unit to service.
NOTE: Check all safety and control features. Do Not return an unsafe mower to service.
