■ Clean the Fuel/Water Separator
●Remember that vapor from diesel fuel is
explosive and flammable.
●NEVER smoke while handling the fuel.
●Keep the fuel away from open flames or sparks.
●Before servicing, stop the engine.
●Before servicing, allow the engine to cool off.
●Work in a well-ventilated area.
●Immediately wipe away spilled fuel.
NOTE
● Change the fuel filter if the fuel tank has been run
dry.
1. Park the tractor safely and securely.
2. Open the hood.
3. Turn the valve lever to the “Close” position.
4. Turn the sediment bowl locking collar
counterclockwise to unlock the sediment bowl,
then pull the sediment bowl downward to remove
from the separator body.
5. Discard fuel and sediment in the sediment bowl
and then clean the sediment bowl with diesel oil.
6. Reinstall the sediment bowl, and turn the valve
lever to the “ON” position.
7. Close the hood.
8. Turn the key to START position to crank the
engine to bleed the air from the fuel system.
