8. OPERATION
Sc2450 Operator's Manual
Avoid injury:
Before starting or operating the tractor, always
check the area around the tractor for obstacles
and any person nearby. Turn off the Power
Take Off (PTO) switch and raise the implement.
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage.
To prevent damage to the transmission, stop the
tractor completely before shifting the range gear
lever.
1. Adjust the operators seat position, sit
on the seat, and fastens the seatbelt.
For the adjusting method of the seat position, see
“Adjust the Operator's Seat on page 7-2, and for the
fastening method of the seat belt, see “Fasten the
Retractable Seat Belt” on page 7-4. See “Reverse
the Operator's Seat” on page 7-2 to adjust the seat to
the position of the backhoe.
(A) Tractor driving position
(B) Backhoe position
2. Use the turn signal switch, headlight/
work light switch, hazard lights button
switch as necessary.
(A) Turn signal switch
(a) Move the turn signal switch to the left to signal a
left turn of the tractor.
(b) Move the turn signal switch to the right to signal a
right turn of the tractor.
(B) Headlight/work light switch
(c) OFF
(d) Turning the blue lever to (d) position illuminates
the headlights.
(e) Turning the blue lever to (e) position illuminates
the headlights and work lights at the same time.
(C) Hazard lights button switch
