8. OPERATION

■If any of the following occurs, shut off the
engine immediately.
●Suddenly the engine slows down or accelerates on
its own.
●Any unusual noise is heard.
●Dark exhaust is suddenly emitted.
Regularly check the following during driving to
ensure that all parts are functioning normally.
(A) Fuel gauge
(B) Engine coolant warning light
If any warning light turns on during operation,
immediately shut off the engine and detect the cause
according to the procedure given below. Never
attempt to move or start the tractor while any warning
light remains “ON”.
Engine oil pressure warning light (C)
This warning light will turn on if the engine's
oil pressure drops below a predetermined
level.
If this occurs during operation of the tractor
and the light remains lit even when the
engine is accelerated to over 1100 min
-1
(rpm) (without load), check the level of
engine oil.
(See “Check the Engine Oil Level” on page
14-8.)
Alternator/battery charging light (D)
This warning light will turn on if the alternator
is not charging the battery properly.
If this occurs during operation of the tractor,
check the electrical charging system or
contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar
dealer.
NOTE
●Contact your local Cub Cadet Yanmar dealer for
technical assistance on checking and servicing of
the tractor.
