Motor Characterization Error

A Motor Characterization Fault (fault code 87) will store additional
information in the Motor Characterization Error variable:
0 = sequencing error. Normally caused by turning off Motor Characterization
Test Enable before running the test.
1 = encoder signal seen but step size not auto-detected; set up Encoder
Steps manually.
2 = motor temp sensor fault.
3 = motor temp hot cutback fault.
4 = controller overtemp cutback fault.
5 = reserved.
6 = undervoltage cutback fault.
7 = severe overvoltage fault.
8 = encoder signal not seen, or one or both channels missing.
9 = motor parameters out of characterization range.
20 = Sin/Cos sensor not found.
21 = phasing not detected.
22 = Sin/Cos sensor characterization failure.
23 = started characterization procedure while motor rotating.
24 = Sin/Cos signal too noisy for characterization.

A Parameter Mismatch Fault Fault (fault code 99) will store additional
information in the Parameter Mismatch Error variable:
0 = No Parameter Mismatch Error Present.
1 = Dual Motor Enable = On, and Control Mode Select is not set to either
0-Speed Mode Express or 1-Speed Mode.
2 = Feedback Type is incompatible with Motor Technology setting.
3 = Save Torque Preload = On and Torque Preload Enable = Off.
4 = Speed Filter Mapping Incorrect.
5 = This Control Mode does not support EM Brake Control.
6 = This Control Mode does not support Interlock Braking.
7 = Unused.
8 = Controller not compatible with motor, short circuit current too high.
9 = Single voltage models require cross connect.
10 = Cannot run restricted operation without back emf data.
11 = Mode not yet intended for production use.
12 = This Motor Type not compatible with Direct Torque Mode.
13 = This Motor Type not compatible with Released OS.
14 = Last Step of PMAC Commissioning Skipped.
15 = PMAC Motor Type 0 disabled.
16 = This Throttle Type not compatible with Direct Torque Mode.
Notes: Errors 1 and 8 apply to ACIM motors only.
Errors 10, 20, 21, and 23 apply to PMAC motors only.
Errors indicate the motor characterization data is invalid,
except in the case of Error 1.
