Cardio (P-8)
Program Overview
The Cardio program is designed to maintain a high total demand using two four-minute segments of
alternating incline. This allows prolonged intervals that take advantage of long term energy systems
and total aerobic capability when associated with speeds that require a high sustained cardiovascular
demand. See table below and Figure 8.
