Lateral Step
Arm Positioning: 5-B
1. Position the hip harness around your waist,
attaching with clip positioned at side of body.
2. Stand in a semi-squat position so that hips
and knees are flexed approximately 45 degrees.
3. Initiate with a motion that pushes with the planted
foot, stepping away from the cable, landing on the
driving foot.
4. Continue this lateral progression, maintaining this
semi-squat position.
5. Return to the sarting position and repeat, then
perform with the opposite leg.
Overhead Squat
Arm Positioning: 2-B
1. Stand facing away from the machine, positioning
your arms overhead.
2. Initiate the movement with a squat motion,
maintaining your arms extended overhead
throughout the motion.
3. Keep your torso stabilized and maintain proper
squat technique throughout the motion.
4. Your range of motion will be determined by how
far you can squat, without rounding your spine.
5. Return to the starting position and repeat.
