Purpose Used to configure loopback detection on the switch.
Syntax

Description Used to configure loopback detection on the switch.
Parameters
<portlist> ā Specifies a range of ports for the loopback detection
state [enable | disable] ā Allows the loopback detection to be disabled or enabled.
Restrictions Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To set the loopdetect state to enable:
DES-1228/ME:4#config loopdetect ports 1-5 state enable
Command: config loopdetect ports 1-5 state enable
