Client Shaping
Client shaping allows you to impose speed limits on clients to ensure that
bandwidth is not being monopolized by a single Wi-Fi client.
Client Shaping
Add: Click this button to add a new client shaping rule. You will be taken
to the Add Rule dialogue, described below.
Delete: Click this button to delete the selected rule(s).
MAC address: Indicates the MAC address of the Wi-Fi client to which the rule applies.
Maximum upload
rate:
Indicates the maximum upload rate for the given client in megabits
per second.
Maximum
download rate:
Indicates the maximum download rate for the given client in megabits
per second.
Enabled: Indicates if the rule is enabled.
Add/Edit Rule
Enabled: Toggle this switch to enable the rule
MAC address: Specify the MAC address of the Wi-Fi client to which the rule will apply.
