General Safety
CAUTION
● Keep oil or brake fluid off the brake disk and pad because the contaminated brake disk and pad reduces
the braking performance. If contaminated, replace the pad with a new one, and clean the disk.
● Use special tire levers and rim protectors to remove or assemble tires to protect the the rim from being
damaged.
● This section describes how to remove and maintain front wheels, front fork and steering system. For
information on the front brake system, refer to section 14.
● Place a jack underneath the engine to support the 2-wheeled vehicle.
