2 Open the drain and fill valve.
3 If an automatic air purge valve was installed, make sure it is
open.
4 Collect the drained water in a bottle, … using the installed drain
hose.
5 Close the drain and fill valve.
6 Disconnect the water supply hose from the drain and fill valve.
7 To add water to the water circuit, see "3.3.2 Repair
procedures"on page96.
Is the problem solved? Action

To add water to the water circuit
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "2.19 Plate
work"on page77.
1 Connect the water supply hose to the drain and fill valve.
2 Open the drain and fill valve.
3 If an automatic air purge valve was installed, make sure it is
open.
4 Fill the circuit with water until the manometer (field supply)
indicates a pressure of ±2.0bar.
5 Purge as much air as possible from the water circuit, see
"3.3.2Repair procedures"on page96.
6 Refill the circuit until the pressure is ±2.0bar.
7 Repeat steps 5 and 6 until no more air is purged and there are
no more pressure drops.
8 Close the drain and fill valve.
9 Disconnect the water supply hose from the drain and fill valve.

with the next procedure.
To open the stop valves of the water circuit
1 The stop valves are located outside the unit. Open the valves
by placing them in line with the piping.

To open the air purge valves of the water circuit
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the unit via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "2.19 Plate
work"on page77.
1 Place the air purge valve, installed inside the unit, in the open
position by turning it clockwise.
INFORMATION
If a backup heater kit is installed, place the air purge valve
of the backup heater kit in the open position.

2 Place all air purge valves, installed in the installation outside the
unit, in the open position.
3 Purge the air out of the water circuit, see "3.3.2 Repair
procedures"on page96.
