PRELIMINARY
REMOVING THE RE-IGNITION MODULE
CAUTION: Make sure that the cooktop compo-
nents are cool before you begin.
1. Turn off the gas and disconnect power to
the cooktop.
2. Remove the cooktop (see page 26 for the
procedure).
3. Cut the wire tie from around the re-ignition
module.
4. Pull the 11-pin connector off the re-ignition
module pins.
5. Disconnect the electrode wires from the
remaining terminals on the re-ignition mod-
ule. NOTE: You may reconnect the wires to
the terminals in any order.
6. Remove the two screws from the re-ignition
module and remove the module from the
unit.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
