38 Processor Heat-Sink Fan
Replacing the Processor Heat-Sink Fan

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Align the screw holes on the processor heat-sink fan with the screw holes
on the chassis.

Tighten the three captive screws that secure the processor heat-sink fan to
the chassis.
4
Connect the processor heat-sink fan cable to the connector on the system
board.
5
Replace the compartment door (see "Replacing the Compartment Door"
on page 16).
6
Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 14).
