52 Center Control Cover
Replacing the Center Control Cover

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Connect the media control keys cable to the connector on the system
board.
3
Align the tabs on the center control cover with the slots on the palm rest
assembly and snap the cover into place.
4
Close the display and turn the computer over.
5
Replace the five screws that secure the center control cover to the
computer base.
6
Replace the compartment door (see "Replacing the Compartment Door"
on page 16).
7
Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 14).
