52 Center Control Cover
Replacing the Center Control Cover
1 Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2 Connect the media control keys cable to the connector on the system
board.
3 Align the tabs on the center control cover with the slots on the palm rest
assembly and snap the cover into place.
4 Close the display and turn the computer over.
5 Replace the five screws that secure the center control cover to the
computer base.
6 Replace the compartment door (see "Replacing the Compartment Door"
on page 16).
7 Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 14).
