Removing the optical disk drive
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the air shroud.
4. Remove the drive backplane cover.
5. Disconnect the power and signal cables from the optical disk drive (ODD) and observe the cable routing.
Steps
Press the blue latch to disengage the ODD from the system and slide out the ODD.
