Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
1. Open the latch and disconnect the status-light board-cable from the system board.
2. Peel the foam securing the status-light board to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Lift the status-light board off the palm-rest assembly.
