Input/Output(I/O) board
Removing the Input/Output (I/O) board
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. base cover
b. battery
3. To remove the I/O board:
a. Peel the adhesive tape to access the I/O board cable [1].
b. Lift the latch and disconnect the I/O board cable from the I/O board [2].
c. Disconnect the coin cell battery and power and volume button board cables from the I/O board
[3].
d. Remove the screw that secures the I/O board to the computer [4].
e. Lift the I/O board away from the computer [5].
