Removing the keyboard
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. base cover
b. battery
c. SSD card
d. coin cell battery
e. WLAN card
f. system fan
g. heatsink
h. I/O board
i. power connector port
j. display assembly
k. system board
3. Disconnect the speaker cable and lift the speaker away from the computer.
4. To release the keyboard:
a. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard shield to the keyboard.
