Installing the keyboard daughter board
1. Place the keyboard daughter board into the slot on the computer.
2. Connect the following cables to the connectors on the keyboard daughter board:
a. LED board
b. keyboard daughter board
c. touchpad
d. keyboard backlight
e. keyboard
3. Install the:
a. battery
b. base cover
4. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
Touchpad
Removing the touchpad
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. base cover
b. battery
3. Open the latches and disconnect the following cables from the system board:
a. keyboard daughter board [1] [2]
b. Remove the keyboard daughter board cable from the computer [3]
c. touchpad [4] [5]
d. Remove the touchpad cable from the computer [6]
