Removing the hard disk drive

2. Remove the:
a. Removing the SIM tray – WWAN models on page 12
b. base cover
c. battery
3. To remove the hard disk drive (HDD):
a. Disconnect the HDD cable from the system board [1].
b. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the HDD cable to the system board [2]
c. Remove the 4 M2.0x5.5 screws that secure the HDD to the palmrest [1].
d. Lift the HDD from the computer [2].
