Installing the LCD hinge
1. Place the left and right hinge brackets on the LCD back cover, align with the lock tabs on the side of LCD back cover.
2. Tighten the 10 M2.5x2.5 screws to secure the left and right hinge brackets to the LCD back cover.
3. Install the:
a. LCD bezel
b. display assembly
c. WWAN card
d. Installing the WLAN card on page 19
e. battery
f. base cover
4. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer
Palmrest
Removing the palmrest
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. base cover
b. battery
c. heatsink
d. fan
e. WLAN card
f. WWAN card
g. memory module
h. HDD
i. DC-in port
j. I/O board
k. coincell battery
l. speakers
m. touchpad
n. display assembly
o. system board
NOTE: The component you are left with is the palmrest.
