Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the heatsink-discrete.

Steps
1. Locate the DC-in port on your computer.
2. Remove the two (M2x5) that secure the DC-in metal bracket.
3. Lift the DC-in metal bracket from the computer.
4. Disconnect the DC-in cable from the connector on the system board.
5. Remove the DC-in port from the computer.
