Installing the optional DisplayPort module
CAUTION: The information in this installation section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the optional DisplayPort module and provide a visual representation of the
installation procedure.

Steps
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the optional-module cover from the chassis.
NOTE: This step is applicable only when the optional DisplayPort module is being installed for the first time.
NOTE: To remove the optional-module cover, insert a flat-head screwdriver in the hole of the cover, push the cover to
release it, and then lift the cover off the chassis.
2. Insert the optional DisplayPort module in the slot on the chassis.
3. Connect the optional DisplayPort module cable to the connector (VIDEO) on the system board.
