To add a UDP relay, click 
Add
, and enter the fields:

Source IP Address 
— Select the source IP address to where the switch 
is to relay UDP Broadcast packets, based on a configured UDP 
destination port. The interface must be one of the IPv4 interfaces 
configured on the switch. Select 
All
 for all addresses.

UDP Port (1 - 65535) 
— Check 
Default Services
 to select all of the 
following default ports: 
• IEN-116 Name Service (port 42)
•DNS (port 53)
• NetBIOS Name Server (port 137)
• NetBIOS Datagram Server (port 138)
• TACACS Server (port 49)
• Time Service (port 37)
If 
Default Services
 are not selected, check the text box and enter a 
UDP port.

Destination IP Address 
— Enter the IP address that receives the UDP 
packet relays. If this field is 0.0.0.0, UDP packets are discarded. If this 
field is 255.255.255.255, UDP packets are flooded to all IP interfaces.
Configuring UDP Relay Using the CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the CLI commands for setting fields 
displayed in the UDP Relay pages.

Enables the forwarding of User 
Datagram Protocol (UDP) broadcast 
packets received on an interface to a 
specific (helper) address.
Use the no form of this command to 
disable the forwarding of broadcast 
packets to a specific (helper) address.
