Static Addresses
Static addresses are manually assigned to a specific interface and VLAN on
the switch. If a static address is seen on another interface, the address is
ignored and it is not written to the address table.
To define a static address:

Click Switch > Address Tables > Static Address Table in the tree view to
display the
Static Address Table: Summary page.

A list of the currently-defined static addresses is displayed.
2 To add a static address, click Add .
3 Enter the following fields:
•
Interface — Select a port or LAG for the entry.
•
MAC Address — Enter the interface MAC address.
•
VLAN ID — Check and select the VLAN ID for the port.
or
•
VLAN Name — Check and enter the VLAN name.
•
Status — Select how the entry in the table will be treated. The
possible options are:
