Enable
— The enable (encrypted) password is used for
authentication (defined in "Enable Password" on page 281).
Local
— The user authentication is performed by the device,
which checks the user name and password for authentication.
RADIUS
— The user authentication is performed by the
RADIUS server. For more information, see "RADIUS" on
page 291.
TACACS+
— The user authentication is performed by the
TACACS+ server. For more information, see "TACACS+" on
page 282.
None
— No user authentication occurs.
Select a method by highlighting it in the
Optional Methods
list, and
clicking on the right arrow to move it to the
Selected Methods
list.
