PLATE
JOINER
1.
WARNING:
Do
not
operate
your
machine
until
it
is
completely
assembled
and
installed
according
to
the
instructions.
2.
IF
YOU
ARE
NOT
thoroughly
familiar
with
the
opera¬
tion
of
Plate
Joiners,
obtain
advice
from
your
supervisor,
instructor
or
other
qualified
person.
3.
MAKE
CERTAIN
that
machine
is
securely
attached
to
support
table
before
operating.
4.
CHECK
to
make
sure
that
cutter
blade
is
securely
fastened.
5.
KEEP
fingers
out
of
path
of
cutting
blade.
6.
USE
the
adjustable
stock
stop
and
dual
positon
work
clamp
provided
to
properly
secure
and
control
workpiece
whenever
possible.
7.
ALWAYS
wear
eye
protection
8.
NEVER
reach
behind
or
over
cutting
tool
with
either
hand
for
any
reason.
9.
PROVIDE
adequate
support
to
the
rear
and
sides
of
the
work
support
table
for
wide
or
long
workpieces.
10.
AVOID
operations
and
hand
positions
where
a
sudden
siip
could
cause
your
hand
to
move
into
the
cutting
tool.
11.
NEVER
perform
layout,
assembly
or
set-up
work
on
the
table
while
the
machine
is
operating.
12.
ALWAYS
turn
the
machine
“OFF”
and
disconnect
the
cord
from
the
power
source
before
installing
or
re¬
moving
the
blade.
13.
NEVER
leave
the
machine
work
area
when
the
power
is
“ON”
or
before
the
machine
has
come
to
a
com¬
plete
stop.
