Design the Variation of Displacement by Point-to-point Data
You can input or modify the point-to-point data in the exported CAM data files and import the modified CAM
data in PMSoft. In this way, the variation of displacement of the user-designed CAM curves will also be
drawn in the CAM Chart page. The design process is as follows:
1. Input the point-to-point displacement data in the file Data_S.txt under the folder path:
<PMSoft>\CAMData\Data_S.txt
2. Save the modified file. Add a new CAM chart in PMSoft and enter the resolution.
3. Click “Import”. PMSoft will read out the content in Data_S.txt and draw the data on Displacement chart.
Also, PMSoft will draw the Velocity and Acc charts based on the data of Data_S.txt.
