CKI two RFID readers are included: a DESKO RFID module which supports reading
ICAO compliant documents and an additional RFID module supporting the reading of
Chinese ID documents.
The following two chapters describe the usage of both RFID readers.
6.2.1 Reading Chinese ID Documents
The China ID reader is a single antenna design hidden mounted around the rear part of the
scan window. It supports reading of Chinese ID documents.
To start an ID read, please place the document on the red highlighted area of the scan
window as indicated in the picture below (example DESKO PENTA Scanner
®
